Welcome, here in the heart of the Ozarks in Missouri is Ti Amo Savannahs. We specialize in breeding only Savannah cats and all of our kittens are raised with love and patience.
We are a small breeding program and all Ti Amo kittens are raised in our home with their mother, other cat friends & dogs. All of this to ensure they are loving and well socialized when you bring them home.
Having always loved the African Serval cat, we were over the moon when in 2004, we discovered the wonderful hybrid known as the Savannah.
Shortly after, we purchased our first Savannah, an F2 female named Nico who made us fall even deeper in love with the breed. They are so much more than just a beautiful cat, they are extremely playful and loving as well as entertaining. Not long after, we found that she needed a playmate who could keep up with her high energy, so we got an F5B named Luigi.
Sadly, we unexpectedly lost Nico, although this was an extremely difficult time for us, the joy that she brought into our lives far outweighed the heartache and thus the reason that we became breeders, so that others could experience the unique joy of sharing their lives with one of these amazing cats.
As artists (an Actor/Director), I tend to be drawn to the exotic & wild look in our cats, and are somewhat of a perfectionist. We have strict goals with the art we create which is also reflected in our breeding program.
Our goals include good temperament & conformation, breed type that includes big upright ears, hooded eyes, triangle faces, long neck and legs, short tail, beautiful spot pattern with big dramatic spots, beautiful, athletic, long, lean bodies, all that reflects the African Serval. Being honest is important to us, both with you our potential clients and ourselves as to what is or is not working for our program and what may or may not work for you whether it be a show cat, breeding cat, a wonderful pet, or even if the Savannah is not right for you and your lifestyle.
We want to make a life long commitment to breeding extraordinary Savannahs that will not only improve the breed for countless years to come but will also make a wonderful addition to your family.
Savannah's are unlike any other pet out there. They are a very tall, long, lean, intelligent, loving, very playful, exotic and beautiful cat. The ultimate cat!
